These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Sophie of Orange online store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Orders & Pricing

All prices are shown in the currency indicated on the website and include applicable VAT where required. Any shipping costs are shown before you complete your purchase.

An order is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed and you receive an order confirmation.

In the unlikely event that an item is unavailable after you place your order, we may cancel the affected item and issue a full refund.

2. Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods offered during checkout. Orders may only be shipped once payment has been successfully received.

3. Delivery

We ship to the countries and destinations available during checkout.

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and may vary due to carriers, customs or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

The risk of loss or damage remains with Sophie of Orange until the order has been delivered to you or to a person designated by you to receive it.

4. Products & Legal Guarantee

We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as possible. Minor differences in colour or appearance may occur due to screen settings, photography or the handmade nature of certain products.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. If a product is faulty, damaged or does not conform to what was ordered, please contact us so that we can provide an appropriate solution.

5. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another country, this does not affect any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country.

If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve it.

Returns & Refunds

We hope you love your Sophie of Orange purchase. If you change your mind, you may return your order in accordance with the following policy.

Returns

You have 14 days after receiving your order to notify us that you wish to return it. After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to send the item back.

Items should be returned in their original condition and packaging. You may inspect the product as you reasonably would in a shop. We may deduct any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your proof of postage.

Refunds

When you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund the applicable amount using your original payment method.

Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item or you provide proof that you have sent it back, whichever occurs first.

If you return your entire order, we will also refund the cost of our standard original delivery option. Additional costs for express or premium delivery are not refundable.

If only part of an order is returned, the original delivery charge is not refunded.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty or different from what you ordered, please contact us before returning it.

Where the item does not conform to your order, you will not be responsible for reasonable return costs associated with resolving the problem.
